Mass Effect 2 Eyefinity w/ Widescreen Fixer r312 + Plugin Crashes
Anyone else able to get ME2 working in Eyefinity lately - wanna finish it again before ME3 comes out? I managed to grab an older copy of Widescreen Fixer r312 (API 2.0) with the plugin fix..but it crashes just after running the video
Am i doing something wrong?
I launch Widescreen Fixer, set the plugin to ME2 - auto detect resolution, then I set resolution from the launcher to 5760x1080 and launch the game. I hit * on the numpad to enable the fix and the intro EA video plays and crashes right after.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I hope we get a fix for ME2.
I hope we get a fix for ME2. That would make me SOOOO happy. I want to replay it but not on a single screen! Haha.

Ya...it doesnt work for me...wondering if anyone got ME2 to work recently, or if im doing it wrong. Pretty sure im using 1.02 of the game.
Make sure that when you are
For Mass Effect 2
Make sure that when you are running the WSF program (and I am using the latest version updated March 3 with the MS2 Plugin) you are selecting the correct game version under Selct Game Version dripdown box under the settings for the Mass Effect 2 plugin. I was getting the same crash but I am not using steam to play the game. I am using the retail version of this game. Once I selected the retail (Collector's) version I got no more crashes.

Helifax did a great job of getting this working on Retail ME2 even on my 3 x 4:3 screens :-)
I have played for 20+ Hours now and the only issues are the mouse cursor is offset in menus , the armour customisation menu and the map are also a little bit but once you get used to it out its awesome and thanks again to Helifax for fixng a game for 3 screens that couldnt be fixed :)

I have the same problem, ME2
I got the fix working using the retail mode, but unfortunately it's far from playable. The sidekick avatars are smack in the center of the monitor, and funnily enough my team members seem to have misplaced their bodies somewhere.

This is the only thing I've noticed as well. So far this seems to be working great for me besides that minor issue.
I still cant get this to work
I still cant get this to work either I have been trying for a while, got it too work in ME1 and the ME3 preview but every time I try to initialize the fix it crashes. I have the digital delux edition on origins, and I have the latest update on widescreen fixer.
I have tried it for both the Origins/Steam version and for the retail collectors edition, I have tried it windowed, and fullscreen and I have tried every resolution available but so far nothing works. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks for all the work guys. Waiting to get through with 2 before I buy 3.

Ok sorry about the double
Ok sorry about the double post but I feel really really stupid and I decided I might as well prove it to everyone... apparently Origin doesnt automatically download updates on your games like steam does. And it doesnt have a check for update button like is available on the BF3 tab. All I had to do was download the latest patch to the game here and now it doesnt crash as soon as I start up the fix... but it does have the weird layers on my companions, surprising enough I can see the enemies just fine
oh and here is the link for the latest patch....

Oh and I have been trying to get this game to work for about 2 weeks now, I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it probably 3 times and spent hours trying to find a fix for it...so to be blunt and honest this is what I think about my post above this one....:usesparingly
