2011 was an interesting year. We got two Assassin's Creeds and Duke Nukem Forever was finally released. Unfortunately, we also had numerous delays and cancellations and Duke Nukem Forever was finally released.

Another year for more dashed expectations.

Who will make it? Who will be delayed? Who will fade into the abyss never to be typed about again except for some poor bastard on Gamefaqs? Who will just plain suck?

I dont think it will be so far back in the year that its December but the good news is the longer it takes the more games I can check off my unplayed list.

Waiting for the HOTS expansion for SC2 as well, though not much to expect from SC2 in terms of surround :/

At launch, Future Soldier will be available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A PC iteration of the shooter will arrive at a later date.

In the east yes, its still in Alpha in the EU and hasn't been released in the US ether.

Might as well sign my life away when Guild Wars 2 comes out. The repeated delays are more like the doctor told me his original estimate was wrong and I have a few extra months to enjoy the world. At least I'm aware closed beta is currently going on and they're adding more people slowly but surely. From what I've heard, the game is in a condition that's polished enough for release... but they just keep buffing it.

Syndicate and XCOM excited me. then i realized that syndicate just shares the name as the original strategy game. and Xcom is just going to be a FPS, that imo doesnt even look that great. but it "is" supposed to be based on the old one and the creators are calling it a strategy fps.. well see

Here's some news about Guild Wars 2:

By the looks of Twitter, the invites to the press closed beta test have gone out! I foresee many happy fans on the morning of February 20th.

You’ll likely get a brief outline of GuildWars 2′s production schedule and the quarter the game will be released, not a hard street date. Obviously conference call release date estimations have been off before in the past, but ArenaNet seems to be in line (or in some cases ahead) of expectations set by Q3′s call.
