I read a lot of threads and posts here. There are a lot of contradicting statements and non-conclusive posts. I really am lost. I'll get my system specs out of the way first.
Intel 2600k @ 4.8
2x 6870's OC'ed Crossfire
8GB DDR3-1600
3x 23" 60Hz Acer Monitors (2 plugged in via DVI, one via DVI-Mini DP Adapter)
5956x1080 Bezel Compensated
Catalyst 12.1 Preview drivers
I just got the three monitors and had no choppiness or stuttering on a single monitor with the same PC configuration. Here's the problem. I mostly sim race, but I also play FPS's like ArmA II. I have everything set up according to recommendations. I run my racing sims and get 200+ FPS constant, however, this now feels like 40FPS. While taking fast corners, it is almost painful to look at. Also, just to let you know, racing sims are not meant to be run with Vsync. For some reason, physics calculations are based of user FPS... Weirdest system ever.
I really don't know where to go from here. I have tried older drivers (which 12.1 did uninstall properly, some people were complaining of this). Any help/ recommendations are appreciated. I don't want to go with an AMD processor as some suggest. They are behind the game right now. Also, a decent nVidia setup for triple monitors is outrageously priced.
Thanks.

What happens when you play on
What happens when you play on only one card? Since you hit 200fps, running crossfire does't seem to be needed. I asume you have already read this thread?
