I cannot seem to get a straight answer on this. Will a Saphire Flex Edition 6950 have the common screen tearing issue that happens when you mix a DP signal with other types, OR will the screen tearing issues be fixed because all 3 monitors can be connected through DVI???

In that video he is using my exact same GPU, and my exact same cable setup( all three DVI, one HDMI>DVI adapter)
He is getting no screen tearing. See for yourself...
So that tells me that this is a fixable problem.
I am having a real hard time getting replies, I'll paypal 10 bucks to whoever can get this solved for me. There has to be someone on this board that has bought a flex edition that can tell me how to fix this.

Tearing only seems to happen if you use an adapter! And not with all, just with some.... It's kinda hard to say in which configuration it does and when it doesn't. Can't say it before you tried it out. Maybe doesn't with your system, but with some1 else's

HDMI and DVI are identical.
HDMI and DVI are identical. So the HDMI>DVI adapter cannot be the issue.
I even went ahead and tried it without the adapter, just 2xDVI and 1 HDMI and as soon as i put it in eyefinity mode the screen tearing returned.

I've been running this GPU for about a week now using the 2x DVI, HDMI > DVI Solution and I have had no tearing whatsoever. I'm about to check if I have the same results using 2xDVI and mDP > DVI.

So are you not getting screen tearing in games either? I dont get screen tearing in extended desktop mode, only in eyefinity mode. Could you also tell me what drivers you are using? thanks, that means this should be a simple fix. Also whats the refresh rate on your monitors? Mines max is 75 on all 3( all the same) but eyefinity is locked at 60hz....Could this be causing some sort of issue

Just got back from testing mDP > DVI using http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814999034 and I don't have any tearing either. All of my displays can max at 75hz as well. For what it's worth, I'm running 3 Asus VH202T-P under the latest drivers v.8.911-111025a-128243C-ATI with Catalyst 11.11.

Should it matter which ports I put each monitor in? I could try scrambling them or switching them up. Can you think of anything else I could have possibly done wrong? maybe i didnt configure eyefinity right?
Update: So i tried scrambling the cables and it doesnt fix the issue. I still get screen tearing on at least one of the monitors, If i set that monitor as preferred in the CCC, I get screen tearing on both of the other two monitors.

All of my cables are Dual-Link but as you said, there is only one Dual-Link port so I wouldn't imagine that it would have anything to do with that. It's odd that it will shift between screens. That sounds like maybe there is a connection issue between the board and the card or a problem with the card itself. I'm no expert though, just throwing out my two cents.

I checked everything in the computer. Its fine. It seems that whichever monitor is connected to the bottom DVI port, the SL-DVI is the one that gets the screen tearing. But all the cables are SLDVI anyway. Any other possible solutions?
How can you be using all
How can you be using all DL-DVI if the card only has one DL Slot? This is driving me insane. I need to return this AMD POS in the next day if I cant find a way to fix this.

You could use D3Doverdriver
You could use D3Doverdriver and get some triple buffering going. You should also check that in CCC. Also you should be running vsync.

my laptop is plagued with screen tearing in anything that uses the graphics acceleration, even movies when played through any player with accelleration. which is pretty much all my players including vlc. it runs an ati/amd card as well. the tearing ONLY occurs when connected via hdmi-dvi to a monitor or TV, using the native screen its fine :P.occurs on both monitor or hdtv all the time. and its always near the top of the screen. vsync doesnt seem to do anything and forcing accelleration one way or another doesnt either. even using alternating vsync and d3d fullscreen dont fix it. its been driving me nuts for 2 months and ive never found a solution.
All games and movies etc, im annoyed enough im about to just swap it and run a different system to my tv :P

We're not paid to help you. It's on our whim and free time. Often that means untimely response times. That being said if you have patience I'm sure we can work through the issue to resolution. Don't bite the hand that feeds you.
The only time I've experienced issues is with a faulty active adapter. Mine was an intermittent sync drop out issue not tearing though. I keep my ports out the same type. I'm on 5870 E6 all mDP-DVI active adapter and DVI-HDMI cabling.

Flex Edition cards
Hey im sorry to hear about your trouble, i have an Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 Flex Dirt 3 Edition Video Card, I keep getting massive screen tearing as well. But it is not from the HDMI To DVI adapter, its from the single link port under the dual link to dvi port, (the one dvi port at the bottom.) I have been asking for this kind of question for quite sometime. but there are possible reasons why we get screen tear,
1.) Motherboard does not have PCI-Express 2.1 only 2.0 or below.
2.) Not much voltage is going through the card for Eye-finity view.
3.) did not uninstall ATI Drivers, before installing sapphire drivers.
4.) Catalyst control Center from ati is conflicting with flex edition card, thinking that it has an Active DVI Adapter, for the 3rd monitor. so the card gets treated differently by the ATI Software.
5.) Could have old drivers installed and windows not detecting new ones for update.
6.) the clock ratio (mine is 900Mhz) is probably not fast enough for support on all monitors so you will get a screen tear due to clock speed on card.
Tip: i use to have this kinda problem on the HDMI to DVI adapter, but some odd reason when i moved the video card to another slot that the screen tear moved to another monitor that is not on the HDMI to DVI adapter.
I am thinking of getting 2 mini-display port to dvi adapters. that are eyefinity certified only and using the 2 of them on the card or 1 of them on the card to see if this fixes a problem. but also the guy on the movie could be using an ACTIVE mini display port to dvi and wants to be an ass and not tell you his secret.
Active display port adapters have chips inside of them and a usb power wire to them. reason why is because for the 3rd monitor it adds more clock speed and frames per second that the card cant handle.
and probably the flex card is chocking because it still does not have enough clock speed power, because of the resolution we are shoving down its throat.
im sorry if this is soo much and if this not what you want to hear, but there are many possibilities to this problem. and yes i have been stressing on this for quite some time as well. I also want to find the problem out as well.
but the biggest thing i think it is, is the clock speed not high enough. because if you take a slower video card with very slow clock speed, and you put it on resolution 1920 x 1080 resolution and put windows 7 on it, you will notice screen tear, because of the resolution and how great and sharp the picture quality is for windows 7.
everything else is fine the memory clock is high enough. just not the clock speed, and OVERCLOCKING will do no good. i have tried that step already. flex cards dont do good for over clocking.
