Legend of Grimrock

Post by skipclarke »

This looks interesting. Saw it on Rock, Paper, Shotgun. Reminds me of old games like Bard's Tale, Ultima Underworld and the D&D dungeon crawls such as Menzoberranzan.

Tis good ! And suitably hard.

Tis good ! And suitably hard. Don't forget to turn on vsync... or frame target: your above-average gaming rig can probably handle vast amounts of stone corridors (however beautifully lit and dangerously populated) with little effort.
Brings back excellent memories of Dungeon Master, Eyes of the Beholder, Lands of Lore 1... Excellent introduction to the genre if you've never heard of these, too. Totally worth the twenty bucks.

Looks like there is

Looks like there is additional content planned. I think I will run through Wizardry 8 with one of the newer mods in the meantime.
