hey guys its been a while since ive posted here, after years of multi-monitor experience i ran into a little trick for those who don't have multi-monitor setups.

video game play is left 4 dead 2 on PC using a 27" ASUS lcd monitor.

setup game launch options in steam and added command lines:

-windowed -w 1920 -h 400

these commands should work with other games that support multi-monitor aspect ratios natively.

You can also add custom resolutions to single monitor setups through drivers (nVidia) or through Registry Hacks (ATI) or through EDID edits (Both but Dangerous).
