Upgrading from Dell P2210H > U2311H ?
I have 3 x Dell monitors P2210H and was thinking of upgrading these to 3 x Dell U2311H.........
Just wondering if you thought the upgrade was worth it ?
Advantages
----------
IPS panel
Better viewing angles
Bigger Screens :)
Disadvantages
-------------
No HDMI port
8ms response time ? ( was 5ms on the P2210H )
Anything else you can think of really.

The only disadvantage is that you'll never want to buy another TN panel.

I don't you can go wrong, IPS
I don't you can go wrong, IPS screens are much better. I have a friend (leon hikari) that went from 3 1080p TN's to 3 IPS 1680x1050 screens, because the IQ was soo much better on the IPS screens.
I say go for it. bigger resolution, all advantages of ips, and bigger screens. Cant go wrong.

Thanks for the positive
Thanks for the positive replys & information.......
Although I won't get any bigger resolution with these screens,which I don't mind as 1920 x 1080 is fine for me,the screens
will be bigger & and I get better panels :)
A worthwhile upgrade me thinks :twothumb
Now to sort out a stand to support them.....what are you guys using ?

First it was the included
First it was the included stands, and books to get them to the same level. Then it was 3x triple-jointed VESA clamp arms from Monoprice. Thsoe are great arms, adn I still ahve them packed awawy. Then, ran out of deskspace, got a huge paycheque, and gave myself the 100-D16-B03 from MountedConcepts. It's a popular one around these parts.. It's expensive, but I'm pretty happy with mine.
I had looked at these
I had looked at these before, but feel it may end up quite expensive with shipping from US > UK + Tax.
Need to find something in the UK really.....?
