Eyefinity setup and CCC are being a PITA

Post by Keyraa »

Hey guys.

After getting a call today from my local PC shop, letting me know my Displayport adapter had arrived, I went and picked it up, and got a third monitor to get eyefinity happening.

After plugging it all in, and resetting my PC, I went to CCC to try and set it up.

However, when I try to create a group, the only options there are 2x1 and 1x2.

I can setup eyefinity over any two displays, including the one that is using the displayport adapter, but there is just no option to use 3 monitors.

Is there anything I am doing wrong?

Thanks,
Keyraa.

Before anything, it often helps if you post your specs with the post. :)

Eyefinity with 3 screens is only supported in Vista and Windows 7. If you are using XP, it won't work.

Here's a setup video for Eyefinity:

Well since you get the options to create a group, most likely you're running an OS that supports eyefinity.

So I'm thinking the issue is that you got the wrong adapter.
