is there a widescreenfixer for this yet? just finished the game

No it is not even released in the US yet. I do not know if DopeFish is intending to buy it or not. You are obviously welcome to donate him a copy through STEAM, it helped with MW2! :D

i mean single player not multi..

its weird my steam copy worked since this morning...

I guessed, was joking. It is not officially released til 7AM PST, whenever that is! But we still have to wait and see if DF gets the game, I don't even know is WSF will be hit by VAC (CoDs previous use PBuster)

So I guess the inferance here is that there's no out of the box support with Black Ops? Considering a purchase myself, but I think I'll wait until a solution is out there.

So lame that they didn't do something to support multi monitors. I can't stand to play on one monitor and it's impossible to play with out the fix. ~sigh..

Anyone know if it's going to come out soon?

Only got the game a few hours ago, cant play it in eyefinity, like looking through a stretched slit, anyways... give me say... hmm 20 minutes....

It's rough, its unpolished and not play tested, it requires .NET Framework 4.0 so make sure your up to date! - Also note, I take zero responsibility for anything that happens to your account through use of this application.

I brought the retail package here in New Zealand, it installed via Steam, so I assume its the Steam edition - I run Win7 64bit so again, if you differ from this your milage may vary, please do post reports of what doesnt and does work.

Also note its for single player because I havent even fired up the multiplayer executable yet.. so yeah. [edit]Multiplayer now supported[/edit]

Nice work, I'll try it when my game comes, but until then send the code to DopeFish so he can add it to his fixer, I would rather have the one exe to fix everything then one for every game. It is DopeFish that made the WidescreenFixer tool right?

Guys, I *highly* recommend you set

r_glow_allowed "0"

in your config files. Must be similar to HBAO in BC2 or something as it cripples my machine. Really nice & playable once it's switched off...doubled my fps I'd say.

Odd. MW2 also has that cvar, but I've seen no difference in performance. Sure looks funny, though. It's just a fake-o HDR.
