Hello

i dont seem to be able to get a 3840 x 1024 resolution.

The following is my situation:
I am using a Matrox Triplehead2go analog edition.
From my laptop, i would like to display this resolution on 3 monitors.
My laptop has a ATI Radeon 4570.
And i am using Windows 7 64-bit.

The best resolution i can get is 2400x800.

All helps are appreciated.

TQ

This graphics chip seems a little bit week for this resolution, but anyway could be possible.

Info form AMD site:
Two integrated DVI display outputs.
Primary supports 18-, 24-, and 30-bit digital displays at all resolutions up to 1920x1200 (single-link DVI) or 2560x1600 (dual-link DVI).
Secondary supports 18-, 24-, and 30-bit digital displays at all resolutions up to 1920x1200 (single-link DVI only).
Each includes a dual-link HDCP encoder with on-chip key storage for high resolution playback of protected content.

So check your manual, if you notebook has dual link DVI output. Normally one fo this ports would be used for the internal display the other for the output. Some notebooks have two outputs, one can only be used when the internal display deactivated. So the second hint would be to try to deactivate the internal display.

I suppose you mean 2400x600 (3x 800x600) ?
Anyway, your graphics chip should be capable of handling 3840x1024, as confirmed by Matrox compatibility Wizard. Hmm.
Silly question time: does each monitor inidividually support 1280x1024 ?

Never got 3840 x 1024 on any ATI driver above v9.8.

Some say they have but I have tried many different ATI driver versions / installation procedures.

Maybe your issue.

Try the Old v9.8 driver to see if this solves your issue.

I retract that.. I have just got 3840 x 1024 on 10.12 catalyst
