Mobile Intel Series 4 Family Chipset

Anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of "Pillar Boxing" the black bars on each side? I've updated my drivers, tried various ratio aspects, and all that. I can't play in higher res my laptop lags if I do. I should be able to play in 800x600 in fullscreen though. How do I get rid of those annoying black bars with my video card. I have seen solutions for ATI and Nvidia, but not Mobile Intel series. I also have windows 7 it was already installed when I bought my laptop, it's an Acer btw. Any help would be appreciated thanx.
