Hey
I think it will be cheaper than even make 5040x1050. (dual is twice cheaper even than triple)
I saw 5040x2100 and 10080x1050 from 2x matrox triplehead DIGITAL obviously
but matroxDUALhead2go is twice cheaper than triple and can operate 3840x1080 for sure(3840x1200 I think as well).
SO if We have dual DVI gpu and bought 2X dualhead2go we can make 4x screens in panorama, so if we can do with 4 we can do it 3 even easier
:cheers
5760x1080(1200) idea?

If I understood you correctly, you want to plug three monitors into two heads on one graphics card using a DualHead2Go...
If your graphics card can span across two display heads, then it already supports Eyefinity (or you're running SLI and can use Nvidia Surround). No real reason for a DualHead2Go or TripleHead2Go there.

Duniek,
Guess it depends how much and where you got the triplehead2go. I got a few from eBay at the same price as I would pay for a dualhead2go but I agree with you on using the 2 for the highest output. I'm using the displayport on my laptop and even though it's compatible with eyefinity, I would like to see matrox expand the resolution to their triplehead2go resolution to say 3 x 2560 x 1600. Not sure if its possible nor where the limitation is at though.
Anyone at matrox care to help us with that cause?

Re: 5760x1080(1200) idea?
I (Like everyone else it would seem) have been searching for a 5760x1080 solution for months - and this is the first one that I've come across that might actually work!! :rockout
Right now I have 2x GTX460 1GB SLI'd cards running 2d Surround - but I'm one of the many that seem to be plauged by constant driver crashes and system lockups. Try as I might, I just can't seem to figure out where the conflict is, so I'm hoping your suggestion of TWO DH2GO (DP Edition with DP-DVI adapters) in Multi-GXM mode will remove the issue and let me run 5760x1080 without the crashes. I have tested that I can run each display independantly at full 1920x1080 without the crashing, so logic would dictate that this should work. The main thing for me is that FS9/FSX must run in fullscreen mode with the proposed configuration......... fingers crossed on that I guess.
I've emailed Matrox support to ask for confirmation, but I can't see why it wouldn't work.......... hopefully I'll get a reply soon which I can post here..........
