how to run fullscreen games in centre screen (1.2) for 5040?

Post by Agent999 »

hello,

Anybody know how to run fullscreen games in centre screen?
There are certain games, like MW2 or SC2 or War3 in which I just want to run the standard 1680x1050 resolution in fullscreen. However, it always display the game on the far left screen rather than on the centre screen so it is easier to view. Any ideas?
I have th2go with 3 22" screens, 5040 x 1050

Thanks

You would have to run them in a window.

Swap back from a display group to 3 individual displays setting the middle as your primary.
Easy to swap using the windows resolution menu.

I would config all the screens to "extended mode" and them select the center screen to be the primary monitor.

When you start a game it will open only on the primary screen. I ran two movies (full screen) one on the left and one on the right and played a game on the middle one with is setup. :)

If you are in "Eyefinity Mode" you may follow Abram suggestion.

My bad Agent999, I didn't see that you are using powerdesk and th2go. This was for Eyefinity setup.

I guess Abram solution then would be best.

I haven't had my TH2Go Hooked up for a while, but I got this to work.

Change your desktop resolution to 1680x1050. The open up powerdesk. Go to the place where you setup your screens and resolution within Powerdesk. Then hit the swap window (or swap monitor, cant remember) and keep hitting that till you are on the middle screen. Then save the configuration.

Thank you! That worked. It's the swap monitor option from powerdesk. However, I also physically swapped the monitors on my th2go, so that monitor 1 goes to connector 2, and monitor 2 goes to connector 1. Apparently th2go hardware "remembers" my monitor 1 on the left as the "main" monitor. By swapping the monitors physically and then subsequently do swap monitor on powerdesk to re-adjust, I was able to trick th2go to use my centre monitor as the primary monitor.

In short, now I can have bios loading screen displayed on my centre monitor, as well as all fullscreen single screen apps and games.

Thanks to those who helped!

The easiest solution is not to play them.

There are games like the upcoming SC2 that I would prefer to play on single screen.
