BioShock 2 help

i need help getting more bioshock 2 resolutions. 1280x720 is too high for my computer and there are no widescreen resolutions lower than that. i want a lower one like 1024x600 or 1152x648 but the options aren't available and i need to know how to make the game with lower widescreen resolutions. i already did a search and just found information regarding widescreen issues, not how to make it run at other resolutions.

More and more "modern" games cannot be run at resolutions below a 720px height... I don't think there's any workaround for such an engine limitation. :?
