Commandos 2 1080p messed up?

I changed the resolution of Commandos 2 to 1080p as shown in this thread: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/10510
Anyone know why my game looks like this? It happens everytime when I move the camera. It's fine in 720p.

That might just be too high a resolution for the engine to handle. I can't go that high so I can't test it myself, but hopefully somebody who can will see this thread and report their findings here.
