Heroes of Might and Magic 3: complete

when i bought my new computer and tried to play this top game of all times, i soarly realized that it gets stretched to doom on my 16:9 screen :(

i would just love it if it was made available in a widescreen format and posibly a higher resolution if possible(i dont pretend to know anything about theese things).

even just shrinking the screen proportions back to 4:3 would be sufficient. just as long as i dont have to see my poor game stretched :(

No need to bump this endlessly; if somebody has a solution for you, they'll help. ;)

HoMM3 is an ageing 2D game, so chances are there's not much you can do anyway. Except playing in windowed mode.

wasnt meant as a bump. just adding info. realised the second i clicked that i shouldve used edit..

mind you, its an aging awesome game. and it cant be run in windowed mode. unless theres a tool for that?

um, what? both ati and nvidia cards have had "don't scale this" options for years now.

just find the display settings in your graphics drivers and tell it not to scale up to fill the whole screen.

Links to files are on the first page. I can confirm that this guy's patch is hor+ in 1280x720 and it works fine on my system running HoMM 3 Complete (Good old Games version). An awesome upgrade to this game for those still playing it.
