Dawn of War II - CONFIRMED! - Eyefinity

Dawn of War II confirmed to work with eyefinity. HUD is not stretched, but minimap and unit portrait are on WAYYYY opposite sides.
Is there somewhere better than photobucket to upload these too? PB has a size limit that sucks.

imageshack will take full 5760x1200 shots but it seems to kill off some of the quality in exchange.

I posted triplehead shots from beta I think. Too bad hud is not centered, its unplayable this way.
HDimage was pretty good image service.

I own this game.
I'll see if there's anything I can do about the HUD.

After experimenting, Ive noticed this game is ALOT better with 3x1 portrait. Not only is the HUD problem much better, but the space is actually well used. Most of the action in DoW2 is condensed into one screen, and peripheral vision is pretty useless. Having 3x1 portrait is like having a 40" screen with tons of pixels.
Ive posted pics here to compare:

The lack of centered HUD was what put me off playing it with TH2G, that and the fisheye FoV.

There's already a thread for this, can we merge it please... use search next time.
Also the squad screen (single player campaign) is completely busted which makes it unusable for the campaign.

This game is on sale for $20 right now on direct2drive, makes me want to get it. But not sure if I will like it or not and eyefinity is not 100% yet.

Or looking at the horizon through a jail cell window. Eyefiniteness FTW !

Yeah, but to clarify for others its the change team members section of the campaign (2d) map view, not the tactical (3d rts) parts. I played half the game without noticing! Then I used to change res to change the squad members, change res to triplehead and play for a while more.
Cant believe they never bothered fixing it, several of us here highlighted it ages back.

I don't think you can customize the inventory or level up your characters while you are in triple monitor resolution, which basically means you'd have to swap resolutions between every missions in single player.
Also I was playing coop and couldn't switch resolutions without disconnecting from the other player because they didn't let you edit your options in the campaign screen. Far too aggravating.
The game itself is good though, worth getting the THQ Pack at 50% off on Steam if you don't have most of those games already.

I would wait for chaos rising and see if they offer a nice combo-deal, though 50% off is definitely worth it.
I prefer portrait for competitive play. With a camera-zoom mod, I can view half a 1v1 map. Its quite an advantage against TS 35s+

Camera mod and competitive play don't seem like they would go along hand-in-hand.

Zoom mods have been around for CoH, which has a far more competitive community. Nobody seemed to have put a stop to that either, despite it being FAR more advantageous in that game.
DoW2 takes alot of up-close micro, and being zoomed out too far makes that really difficult. The game also has artificial limits to FoV, and units will disappear if zoomed out too much, or be obscured in fog.
It helps for sure, just not as much as I hoped.

Are you guys having any kind of frame rate issues? My framerate would drop all the way down to 8-9 fps and stay there (from the normal 40-50 fps). Sometimes ALT-TAB out and back in recovers the framerate, sometimes it recovers by itself. But then it will happen randomly again. Anyone knows anything about this issue?

I wouldn't mind coming back to this game to finish off the SP Campaign if they ever fixed the squad screen in multimon.

There was something in the patchlogs saying something was fixed for eyefinity, but I never noticed anything in MP. It might be a SP thing.
