Doesthe Modern Warfare 2 FOV patch work on MP?

Hey guys, I thought I would start a new thread as the one I read about this FOV patch for MW2 was quite old.

Now some of you have been using it online for a while, has anyone been banned by VAC?

Really not getting on with the default FOV and would like to change it and there is no value in the cfg to change, so thought I would give Dopefish's patch a go (so long as I don't get VAC spanked!)

Anyone else still playing this? I do like the game but the lack of dedi servers is annoying.... and the lag, and the cheats. I just hope they sort it out soon cos I want to carry on playing it.

dopefish's widescreen fixer is (at the moment) fine to use.
