Boooooooooooooooooooooooo, no L4D2 for 25 = meh. When I nabbed L4D, I got it when they had it for half-off at the time... and the game was still fairly new. Would be nice if they can do it again for #2.

Oh man, I feel for you. It's a smashing game though, and that is a great value at only 8 bucks.

Expecting 50% off a week or so after release is a little... impatient. Still, you never know, Steam is putting up new deals through Monday. I could see it being 30% off or something like that.

I got Osmos because it's $2, why not. Ends up the game sucks, so be aware of that. Everything else I already own pretty much... would like Dawn of Discovery but I hate D2D.

Thanks for warning me against Osmos, almost picked it up because of it's low price.

Only bought on Steam this time around, picked up the following:
GRiD, Defcon, and Raycatcher which seemed interesting enough, especially with the fact that you can play to your own music (like Audiosurf). I'll let you guys know how Raycatcher is, and if it's worth the $5.

Raycatcher is inventive and entertaining. The rays get crazier as you go on, not just straight shots. I suggest you make some sort of mount with a disc underneath your mouse so you can spin the in-game disc in time with your physical spinning, it'll make things easier, trust me. Overall it was worth the $5, I'm waiting on a little more money so I can buy "AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! - A reckless disregard for gravity" which is an interesting take on base jumping in the future.

Your mileage with Osmos may vary, but for a game that is supposed to be relaxing and filled with ambient music it is very nerve-racking and annoying to play. Whoever decided moving should slowly kill you is an idiot.

I don't know about that, but that mechanic certainly makes the game challenging. But yeah, the in game music will drive you off the wall after a while, so put on something else.

I bought Dragon Age : Origins retail for $99 cause I didn't want to waste my monthly download quota. Then happened to come across the Steam deal this morning.

So I bought THQ Pack, Osmos and Dragon Age : Origins for $87USD ($97AUD).

I just got TWENTY games for the price of Dragon Age : Origins retail, although I already have DoW2... (Also have DoW + expansions but not through Steam so happy with that)

Shame about Osmos but I'm willing to give it a go. A friend enjoyed it and we like the same kinda stuff.

Can't wait to see what the next 4 days will have in terms of specials on Steam.

/sigh

Picked up GRID too.

Bring on day two...

I find the game very relaxing and enjoyable. Certainly worth two bucks.

L4D2, 25% off........ I'd be pissed if I had just bought it at full price.

Think I'm still gonna wait a bit longer.

If you didn't pick it up already, you're now flat out S.O.L.
Speaking of GRiD, I need to dig out my steering wheel and pedals and crunch some cars into walls with my imprecise driving. Watch those corners, they will rip your car a new fender and put you out if you're not paying attention.

Check your PMs, eZ. I might have a 4-pack in need of 1 more. Should know within an hour or so. Comes to $28.12ea with today's sale. :D

Also, not much of a racer gamer so passed on GRID, but love the HD trailer for it on Steam. Someone knows how to edit.

I still got L4D2 cheaper with the 4-pack, so this doesn't bother me.

Anyone who does not own Dead Space should really buy it now (and up the mouse sensitivity in the ini).

I might get Madballs for $2, but even $2 sounds like a lot for that game.

Except you know they had the 4-pack for the same price as the 25% off available the entire time so the only person I'd be pissed off at is myself for not being able to find 3 other people who want to buy L4D2.

-------
Too bad I didn't see this till today, probably would've picked up Batman for 50% off! Guess I'll have to wait till its on sale again :(

Bought the THQ pack (already own COH though which kind of sucks). Will play Red Faction Guerilla, Dawn of War 2, maybe Tales of Valor so it's all good.

GoGamer has a crazy thanksgiving 48 hour madness.. tons of games at a very low price. Much better deals than any of the digital sales if you can wait for it to ship. I also picked up a USB hub ($1) and CD/DVD jackets ($2) for dirt cheap.
