calling all hp lp3065 owners

Could any of those glad people that own a hp lp3065 answer me a question.

I know the depth of the monitor is 8.5 cm, but is it thinner along the frame?
I would need to clip a loudspeaker array onto that monitor and therefore I need to know its depth on the first few centimeters of the monitor's frame.
