Yep, looks promising.
Is the boxed version tied to Steam in any way (activation/DRM) :?:

I have my fingers crossed that it's something special... but will not be surprised if it flops bad. It needs good story/atmosphere and good net-code and good support from isp's for hosting.

Given the DLC coming, I feel it might be, but no announcement was made.

2.4ghz
1GB (2 vista) Ram
8GB HDD
256MB+ 8series or 2 series i guess.

AMD 3800+ (dual core, not the X2)
2G DDR1 (2x1G)
ATI 4850 (I think the 512MB)
25.5" 16:10 Samsung @1920x1200 60Hz

I should probably put that in my sig but I'm so embarrassed by the CPU/RAM.

With that said, I've played games at "spec" and I've played games on a good rig. There is a huge difference to me at least. I can play Wolfenstein pretty well, but when I use the veil I get some pretty noticeable lag.. Probably cpu related.

Don't be. That URL will make up for it, and then some. And sigs are informative, they're not just e-peen, y'know (...except mine, okay).

Ah f&*k it's listening servers just like COD:MW2... so MP will suck with Borderlands...

Oh screw these people and their fail attempts at game design.

It's a UE3 game if that gives you any idea of performance/system reqs.

I agree that the whole listenserver thing is pretty silly. At least maybe something similar to L4D with a dedicated server? Would take some load off the host for other calculations imo. >_>
As far as integration, I don't believe it's tied to Steam in any way (besides buying it there and recording time played). I don't see anything related to GFWL, or even GFW, as the box art seems to be void of that. Hints point to some sort of Gearbox service? Not sure.

JUST LET ME PRELOAD ALREADY

Yea it looks decent..

CrackerJackMack quit being shy

I used to have this

2.8ghz Pentium 4 Single Core, ATI 9250 256MB, 80 and 160GB HDDs, 1.25GB Ram at one point in my sig.

P2P would be better than Listening IMO, hopefully the P2H doesn't require lots of router tweaks and can instead get around the router like Hamachi.

I got it preordered did the 4 pack thing and selling the other 3 spots.

I really hope it supports triple monitors, it would be a shame that I just got this setup and potentially my favorite game only works on one of them :D

I'll just have to clone it on all 3 :D
