Very good news from ATI on Eyefinity updates

Few things I hope you are all working on, I know all of us Eyefinity owners are looking for soon.

- Bezel management

- Dealing with the game developers to create the correct aspect ratio or FOV (field of view) for these extreme wide resolutions.

- Crossfire to work in Eyefinity

- Some 2d Desktop options that are easy to adjust ?

- Same with games, need the option for main character info etc... on center/main screen...

OFFICIAL REPLY FROM ATI;

Answers without specific timetables because of legal reasons:

* Yes, relatively soon.
* Yes, timing is not under AMD's control.
* Yes, relatively soon.
* Uncertain for reasons not under our control (although we are working the issue).

I think all that was already said, however this thread could be useful by the fact that all this info is summed up in the first post instead of being dispatched in a myriad of post all over the EyeFinity Forum

That said the title could be reworked along with the formatting

"Relatively soon"

don't mean squat to me :(

The last time someone gave me that same answer was when I asked 3D Realms when Duke Nukem Forever is going to come out.

Hmm mayhaps I should have not got an itchy trigger finger and waited for the 5870X2

5870 CF wont fit in my case and I would rather not have 2 cards in there.

I could probably sell my card now for nearly full price due to the shortage of cards on the market but then I would have no computer until the 5870X2 comes out :(
