any 42-46" HDTV that have thin bezel?

I'm assuming eyefinity support triple 1920x1080x3

perfect for HDTV.

it would be sweet to have 3x42 or 46" HDTV setup in triplehead.

(it could be done with the th2g but we are using crappy 768px3 on a 1080p screen)

large screen HDTV are dropping in price too :)

Yeah I thought about this :D

Since I have a 37" Westinghouse and have seen the LVM37W3SE for like $500 it would cost me about the same to get 2 more of them than it would be to buy some good computer monitors.

Bezel is not super thin but its not big for a TV, I think you would be far enough back that the size of the bezel would look smaller and be quite small in comparison to your screen size.

I think the best way to go for seamless large screens is HD projectors, that was my other idea but money and space in my house are always in the way :(

I'm doubting there are many ultra-thin bezel 37" or larger HDTVs because of the damage rate on something that large with insufficient bezel to keep the screen from being damaged. I'll just be happy when flexible OLED become widely used so we don't have to always worry so much about cracking the LCD in transport.

There are actually quite a few thin bezel HDTVs out there. (look for digital signage) However, it seems that most with the thin bezels under 50" are mostly 720p instead of 1080p and there's a fairly serious price premium for these types of models.

For example the Mitsubishi LT-40151 looks like it might be a good choice but it's 1499 for a 40 in 1080p.

What is deceptive about that is in none of those photos does it show graphics on the screen. So we really don't know how close to the edge those displays render graphics.

Well if you look up the "borderless" LG 42SL8000 on youtube you´ll see that when it´s showing something on the screen there are indeed fairly thick bezels. I´m estimating about 3 centimeters thick on each side.

Ugh, you're right! I was sort of wondering why they didn't show any pics in the gallery showing it displaying a picture. Now I know. sort of the bezel-less laptop trick. Oh well, the search goes on.

If they're not lying their arses off, a 1" bezel isn't too bad for a screen of that size. It's still more than we really want, however. A grand for that TV isn't too bad... but it's a little out of my price range for three of 'em. :lol:

If you can afford $1k per LCD, you can afford $1k 1080p entry level projectors. Street prices on some 1080p projectors can price match these tvs. Just spend $430AU and buy Sol7 to edge blend and pre-warp as needed.
