Are you trying to run the games at 5040x1050 ? Have you checked if your monitors support 57 Hz ?

What kind of drivers are you using? The only drivers that worked for me was the 181.71. A little outdated but it gets the job done.

I run Win 7 x64 quad sli gtx 295 with a 260 for physX. It took me a while to find the drivers to get the smash working at 5040. Also, take a look in the sticky to see if the beta drivers work for you. That's what I did. Installed 181.71, then used the beta GXM to set the resolution.

I spent all of last night trying to get any 19x.xx running but I just couldn't.

You get this error when you're giving the triplehead2go a resolution it "doesn't like". It happend to me, ALOT, What you need to do is the following:

1.Plug 1 monitor in your video card and make it your primary.
2. Start the game.
3. Change it to window mode.
4. Change the resolution of your game to you single monitor resolution (unless you're using a 1440x900 monitor; if you are then change it to 1280x720 or 640x480 and exit the game.)
5. Make the Triplehead2go you main monitor.
6. Replug the monitor into the triplehead2go.
7. Open the game.
8. Change the games resolution to the right resolution for your setup.
9. Fullscreen it.
10. Play. You're good to go.

it doesn't matter if it's connected, the real thing is to put the single monitor as primary. For some reason powerdesk will minimize the game if it doesn't know what to do with a signal.

If you have games that do not go up to triplehead resolutions, make sure to configure them into the triplehead2go using the powerdesk.

Another way around having to use that work around is to just configure the game using a config file if it has one. it's generally a CFG file extension. But that's only if you score a game with one that configurable as such. If you need help configuring games, check out the Detailed Widescreen Report Forum or the Widescreen Games List.

You can also hit the Request/Discuss Game Solutions or the Confirmed Game Solutions for extra help.

hey suiken_2mieu looks like you were right. got the game to work. not in 5040x1050 but instead in 3840x1024. atleast it worked. i tried to install the older drivers but i think i messed that up. actually i messed both instructions up. i did what suiken_2mieu but it sort of worked. then in a fustrated move i unistall the drivers and power desk. rebooted. man let me tell u everything was like jumbo sized. tried the clean sweep, think it worked then tried to install the older drivers only to find out that it was the wrong ones for the os. rebooted and the the drivers i had already, reloaded. (newest drivers) powerdesk is still unistalled.

the next move i think i would try next would be driftefx direction and get this puppy running 5040x1050. but i dont know if i want to break what i achieved!

so far got left4dead to run.

thanx everyone.

so heres my other stoopid question.
i have the th2go digital box, so obvisously it takes dvi inputs.....
(im going to fee stoopid for asking this, but i just dont know)
does the monitors have to have dvi inputs or can i connect the th2go to the agp inputs with dvi adaptors to the monitors?

You mean VGA inputs (not AGP), but yes, you can connect the TripleHead2Go Digital Edition's DVI outputs to VGA inputs. The TripleHead2Go outputs are DVI-D, which means that they carry a VGA signal.

If you go to http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/support/drivers/ and work your way through the selection options, you can get to a download link.

I finally fiured why could not run @ 5040x1050.
it appears that my middle monitor was the reason why i couldn't.
middle monitor was using a vga connection and a dvi adaptor.
my other 2 monitrs had dvi outs plus vga.
i was using vga connections with dvi adaptors.
i switched the middle monitor to match my other 2,
used dvi cables. NOW IT WORKS!
using newest nvidia drivers and driver version 1.0.0.6 driver for
the TH2G released on 11/13/08.

hope this helps!
