Yeah Tamlin just linked to this display in one of the threads recently. It's getting mixed reviews. Many are seeing it as a product that tries to satisfy all niches of the market, not really succeeding at it. Time will tell.

It's £450 here... I'd be tempted by this for the central monitor of an EyeFinity rig.

Also, as this monitor is part of their Pro range, apparently they'll replace it if there are any stuck pixels. Which are the bane of the TFT using part of my life.

Sold.

I have one, using it for approx 3 days..My first 10-bit panel (probably my first IPS too).. (Its approx. £200 less in my country). Most countries in Aust-Asia Pacific region should have it already.

A benefit in my country, computer related stuffs are essentially tax free. Not to mentioned packaging/assembling Intel processors, going as far back as Pentium or longer.

*sigh*

If it wasn't for the fact that I'd get completely wallet-raped by Customs charges, I'd order one.

looks like they are planning to release to the US just not yet. hmm. The outlet has them, but when you click on it to customize and buy...it dumps you to the main site.

$599 is a pretty good price for an IPS no? I wonder how the 6ms affects gaming. I seem to recall a PVA Dell 24" monitor (forgot the model#) from 2008 having a huge ghosting issue.

I was looking at this the other day, went with the 2408WFP instead because it was $450 vs $599 thats a pretty big difference to a guy on a budget and I didnt see anything to really separate them in the few reviews I read.

That is what I am considering at the moment...$450 for the 2408 or shell out $599 for the 2410...

Pros seem to be that the 2410 is a better panel (IPS) and doesn't suffer the input lag that is *apparently* a big issue for gaming. Though I can't see how a human being can react as fast as 20-30ms...but I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.

it is important for gaming, but its just processing that takes ages on the 2408. the U2410 is meant to be a very low response screen, less than 1 frame apparently.

looks like average is 15ms in game mode and mid 30's for any of the processing modes like sRGB on the U2410.

The 2408 has nearly double in high 50's but I never noticed any lag/delay when I had mine.

It's not about reacting as fast as 20-30ms, it's about adding lag to your reaction, meaning you'll always be 20-30ms slower reacting then the competition no matter what.

Anyway I think I need to buy this monitor.. any hot deals? :D

They had 15% a month ago.

No hot deals at this time. Keep an eye out though, they usually have brief drops in price here and there, sometimes with coupons.

I negotiated $150 off+free shipping on the phone with a Small Business rep.

Great monitor!

Dell has a $70 discount right now on their website now.

And here for a little less,

Professional... well I'll figure that out.
