Game support for 2048 x 1152?

When I was browsing new I came across this monster:

Has anyone tried it for gaming? The Native res is 2048x1152 and I was wondering whether or not it is supported?

I have seen that, and at a very nice price too, but I am interested in the standard 30 inch panels. I would like to know the answer to your Q as well.

I have a Dell SP2309W (it uses the same panel)

The Dell supports 1:1 pixel mapping.

I am not a great gamer but I have played grid at 2048x1152 with no apparent issues.
