looking to get 2 friends for my Samsung 226BW

Sorry in advance for the NOOB questions...

I have a Samsung 226BW (not sure if it's type A or C)

Anyway I want to add 2 monitors. I'll probably get and try both the softTH and TH2G.

I plan on using the Samsung 226BW as the center monitor. It's a 16:9 monitor... What do you guys/gals recomend I get for the outer monitors...

Not sure if it's best to do 2 19' 4:3 monitors or two more 22' 16:9

or get 1 16:9 and one 4:3 and put the 4:3 in the center...

I'm pretty sure the 226BW is no longer being made so I'm going to have to mix and match anyway.

Two things.

1.) Unless you're running SoftTH, you do NOT want monitors with different resolutions, let alone different aspect ratios. And SoftTH doesn't work with all of the games TH2Go does.

2.) I would suggest not getting monitors that aren't identical to the one you have, as the height discrepancy will irritate you (disregard this if you're planning on buying a multi-monitor stand).

Monitors are also (relatively) inexpensive if all you're doing is gaming. Have you seen Dell's spring outlet sale here?

I went with 2 Samsung 2243BWX monitors to go with my Samsung 226BW and it worked good for me. The only problem was getting the colors to match properly, it took some tweeking. The 2243BWX's have height adjustable stands so they line up perfectly.
Or you could buy 2 more 226BW's to match your monitor, but in my searching, I could only find refurbished ones online.
