Are the screenshots from a tutorial intro movie of sorts, or does the game use anamorphic widescreen?

I have yet to see a TripleHead-friendly 3D "point 'n click" game  but that sucks for 16:10 too, not to mention the 4:3/5:4-equipped casual gamer target audience for such a game :?
And Sam & Max games were Hor+ I think... *sigh*

The eyes are one thing, but I for one don't just sit and watch games, that's my point.

By the way, who d'you like the most - Wallace ? Or Gromit ?

Anamorphism has absolutely no effect on any aspect on how you interact with the game... except for how you "watch" them. Think about it - all you're losing is some screen real estate. Gameplay won't be affected by the black bars. If anything, gameplay may be *enhanced* because more of the game world will be visible on the screen than it would if the game were hor +. Your point does very little to suggest that anamorphism sucks for 16:10 users when playing games.

And I find Wallace's zaniness a lot more fun, but it wouldn't work without Gromit as a straight man.

Tell Tale has released the demo of Wallace & Gromit, their latest episodic adventure. Like Sam & Max Season 2 it is anamorphic. It has support for everything up to 5040x1050 (though this pretty much a waste).

We don't Certify demos, but this looks like the final product will be. Will do a full DR when the full game is released.

Wallace & Gromit - 5:4, 1280x1024

Wallace & Gromit - 4:3, 1024x768

Wallace & Gromit - 16:9, 1280x768

Wallace & Gromit - 16:10, 1280x800

FWIW, you probably alreay tested this, but it does put proper side bars when the aspect ratio exceeds 16:9. I tested an 1.8887 mode to see what happens.

It would be nice if TTG updated S&M 1&2 to use this graphic engine. That way S&M 1 could use any resolution, but crop to 4:3. I know we would all prefer a widescreen version, but at least the game would work/look much better then the current 4:3 only modes.

Don't jump the gun too soon. The full game won't be out until July.

Erm, I mean Episode 1. I don't suppose anything in the game's engine will have changed when Episode 4 will be released (that's the whole point of that 'episodical games' trend, isn't it ?) but if you think it's too soon for a DR, nevermind me.

Is it possible you mean 2040 and not 5040?

I can not get the game to use any modes over 2040. I tried 2050x1500 and it does not show up in the list.

The engine might not change, but you never know when some anomalous blemish might crop up until the whole season's out.

Well the whole season out & I get black borders on 2560 x 1080 :(
Anyone volunteers to make a fix for this, pretty please?
