OcUK Extreme GeForce GTX 280 Amazing Deal!

I wouldn't normally make a thread about hardware sales, but these prices really are great.
TH2Go gamers really should have a think about getting one or two of these.

Yeah, I read somewhere that the UK prices on them were only about 40 pounds more than the 260 is going for. I wonder why they didn't lower prices on the 260 too? That's what I was hoping for, but now I'm thinking I may wait until the GTX 300 version comes out with DX11 and smaller die. I really don't want to end up swapping out the GPU in less than a yr, even if it's a low priced 260.
BTW, this should have been put in the hardware forum, not gaming.

Apologies, I shall remember that in future.
I believe that the guys at OcUK want to clear out as many 280s as they can sell, until the 285 completely replaces it.

"Deals" is not threads we usually wants (we even removed the bargain basement), but this is a good deal thats very limited since they are obviously selling out old stock. So, I'll let it stay this time as long as we don't get a rush of "deals and sales"...

For those who are a bit more wary of Oc.UK... dabs.com have the BFG OC 280 for £241 at the minute. A known-good brand, without Oc.UK customer service if you have problems with it.
As tempted as I am, I'm still gonna hold off. (And I very nearly ordered two...)
If Ebuyer still has 4870X2's for £340 next week, I'll buy one of them, then I might even watercool it.
