at 2800x900 resolution I don't really see it as being useful other than for gaming/movies.
but .03ms response time is fast.. BUT that thing looks deep like a CRT.
I would rather have 3x1920x1200 for productivity.

I believe it functions much like 3x monitors as opposed to 1 huge one. The lines between the 3 screens are slightly visible in some cases.
Looks lovely though :D

I doubt it. I'm betting my left nut that it function as one monitor since it supposely have only 1 dvi as input.. pretty lame.
it supposely was made by combining 3 lcd panels. but I'm sure it will interact as one like how the Th2g interface to the PC.
Since it's AlienWare it will be a bunch of morons that buys them. and I DOUBT that they way they made it it will function as 3 monitors because it will make things too confusing for the technology numbskulls to deal with.

No thanks.. at least with some added press coverage a few more games might scale Hor+ though.
I'll be buying 3x24" once I can cough up the money :D.

I will try to find the article that showed the lines, I think it does behave in a similar way to TH2GO. It was (and still is i guess) a prototype - I'm sure they would make it seemless on release.

"2800x900 is supported in all DX10 games"?
Crappy res (understatement), but maybe a way to get DX10 support on TH2G?

No, that's an old contender they've been trying to pimp as a prototype. Wake me up when OLED becomes viable. This one is a substandard spec yawner.

It's dlp, not lcd and they promised to fix the lines between the screens before it goes retail.
I don't see how it can be worth 6500 with those specs though.

The idea and design is nice..... But, poor implementation.
Res much too low and price is WAY out of line with today's cost for
monitors and tvs. I'll stick with TH2G.
In 5 years we may see a TH2G replacement in the for of Flexable OLED monitors. Curved, Good Res, Great Color, Thinner than LCD.
