NEC and EIZO ultra thin bezel monitors for Surround Gaming

Anyone ever consider these 19"ers? They have bezels just 6.9mm thick and are actually specifically designed for multi-monitor walls. Good viewing angles but high Refresh of 20ms (note that people state these "PRO" series monitors do not ghost regardless of refresh spec vs consumer monitors) and great color support.

They even have a monitor based multi display tiling feature (no need for software bezel management?):

Ignore the monitor models numbers in the above tech page, the 19" models are:

NEC LCD1990FX
NEC LCD1990FXp
Eizo S1961

There are other EIZO and NEC derivatives of the 19" panels out there too, but all of these 6.9mm panels are kinda pricey but possibly worth it.

EDIT: Just read the specs on the 1990SXI (trying to confirm its a 6.9mm bezel), it appears the quoted Response time of 18ms is a full colour time, the Grey to Grey time is 9ms. Afaik consumer monitors like the Dell range only quote G2G times, so that would explain the lack of ghosting on the Pro ranges.

Sounds about right. The G2G on my three Eizo S1931 screens is 8ms.

Friggin' thin bezels indeed
I'd love to see how 3840x1024 looks with three of those. Super-thin bezels surely keep the "need" for triple widescreen at bay... for a price though :/

NEC will never see another dime from me. We had two of them and one went bad within its warranty period. They could not fix it. Instead they sent us another one with same specs but different in bezel color. After questioning NEC on the exchange we decided to hook it up. Opened the box it was filthy and used, probably a reman. Once we hooked it up we found it didnt work. What a joke.
We ended up getting things right with our retailer.
NEC customer service is lacking and will not be supported by my money in the future.
Just my two cents.
