Thief 2 Widescreen does not work for me

Hello, I have T2:TMA and it is patched to 1.18 and when I run the widescreen bat it tells me my thief2.exe is too small so it will not install. Is this a known problem? I did search and cannot seem to find he solution. Thank you for your help

I have a similare problem when I try to run DarkWidescreen.bat in my SS2 folder. I get the following message:

The patch may expect a no-CD patch to be present. Try a couple of them - see if any work. But if you don't know where to get them, don't ask.
