Just been playing this on my t2g setup, it works fine, but the avalible wide screens are only 16:10 and 16:9. obviously with triple head you need 4:1

do you loose veritical when you play in 3840 x 1024 but are forced to select 16:9 or 16:10 or does it automatically change the FOV?

Choose ... 16:9 ... 3840x1024 ... is listed there ... the FOV is adjusted automatically and correctly ... 8)
