Widescreen solution for Darkness Within (Demo)

Could someone get widescreen resolutions with that game? (link to Demo : http://www.lighthouse-interactive.com/index.php?nid=248&main=archive&type=)The game offers just 3 modes (1024x768, 1280x960, 1280x1024). However there is config.txt file where you can change some things like scene2dheight, fov, aspect ... I've tried to make it work on 1680x1050 but doesn't function correctly (hot-spots are different from mouse cursor position, to click on some button I have to move mouse cursor 3-4 cm to the left of the button...) Also in the game Inventory Window is not fully shown etc...

Any idea ?
