What to buy?

Post by Twig »

Ive just turned in some old games to EB(what a ripoff, like always) and Ive got about $53 on an EB card. The whole point of turning these games in was to get Forza 2... but when I got there, I decided not to buy it. Dunno why.
Anyhow, my question is, what should I buy? Anyone got any suggestions?
for the 360 of course.

Flatout Ultimate Carnage and The Darkness are the 2 best most recent games out imo!

I like the FlatOut games as I've played them on PC, both 1 and 2. I think Bugbear is considering porting UC over to PC? It's always fun to run around smashing the cars up. :) I dunno what to recommend since I do not have a 360... but I've heard some good things about Forza2. I guess it really depends on what you're looking for...

Why didn't you buy Forza 2? That's like the only good game which came out in the last 6 months or so. :p

I'd just go with forza 2, if you're looking for a time consuming single player game. Took me about 60 hours to get 100% completion in career.

Dead Rising if you don't have it already.

Something is just really fun about taking a lawnmower/samurai sword/gun/axe/loppers/chainsaw/bat/shopping cart/guitar/water gun/cd/jewelry/hockey puck/bench/Uzi/soccer ball/boomerang/lead pipe, and killing a crapload of zombies with it.

Just my two cents.

I do have it already actually. Very fun game. Its a good party game. You also forgot mannequin :P

I did buy Forza 2, and I have to say Im not disappointed in the least. The online multiplayer is kinda bothersome. I cant say much about the online though, I havent given it the time it needs for me to make a real comment on it.
The single player is awesome though. I also like how the auction house is linked to your offline single player career.

The best game I've played recently is Jade Empire Special Edition.

Enjoyable. But not the best game I'm played.

...that distinction goes to Disgaea 2.

While I love Bioware, I haven't been able to really get into Jade Empire. This is coming from someone who considers KOTOR to be one of the best games ever made.
