I can't get 1920x1080 resolution in quake wars

I tried the word config trick, and i switched from 16x9 and 16x10 in the ingame menu but that resolution is not an option.

Using the config hack will not show the resolution in the games menus ... but it should work.
In the game set it to ... 16:9 ... then ... set the config as follows ...

Find the ... etqwconfig.cfg ... in (Vista) ... C:UsersUser NameDocumentsEnemy Territory Quake Wars Public Betabase ... open it with WordPad

Change these lines ... to ...

seta r_customHeight "1080"

seta r_customWidth 1920"

seta r_mode "-1"

As I say this resolution will not show up in the games menus and if after doing this change to the config you then change the res or the aspect ratio in the game it will set the game back to a default res.
