From the looks of things, the controls stretch, but the 3D landscape is vert -. I guess this game would be considered vert -, but the stretched controls would be considered a major singleplayer anomaly.

As far as stretched HUD, there's a "kneeboard" that contains flight info, which is also stretched.

THe 3DVC is fine and suffers from no distortion. It's all I ever fly, along with using TrackIR.
