I assume that there are no singleplayer anomalies. Are the cut-scenes rendered ingame or FMV? I'm guessing that they're rendered ingame.
Calculated grade: D
Summary of widescreen-related flaws:
Solution requires hack
Everything stretches
No 1280x768 support.
Cranky's coverage estimate: 100%

There are ingame cut-scenes and fmvs, but there is no difference.

Being "strech" means not to bother unless you have no hardware/software scaling that can do the same thing for you I'd suppose.
Is there a reason to do this hack if one of those options exsist?

both wrong! its better to play in a native resolution besides aspect ratio being streched than playing games in a nonnative resolution.

Well yeah, however some monitors scale so well I seriously doubt you would see the diffrence in quality be it non-native or not.
Id personaly just scale it in aspect and keep the bars on the side, I dont like streched images.

not to mention that the game is a pretty cheap port with really low rez textures. Running at native rez really won't make that much of a difference IMO.
Stretch jobs= no widescreen support.

I hear ya bout the new drivers, im still using a 7800GTX so i still have drivers that are centries old with no issues. I am more than sure the scaling options will return.

Off-topic-ish, but is the game actually any good? It's £4.99 pre-owned in Gamestation n i was gonna buy that and Far Cry as it's Buy One Get One Free :P.
Worth a fiver?

Hi,
I'm looking for this kind of hack since the game release, but I only know about it today. Sadly the author (squizzly) delete all the patches from his website and I can't find any other site to download it.
I ask if someone please could send to me this file. If it's possible, my email is:
[email protected]
Thanks!
Hyrule

I cannot even find this report in the master list. :?
Does anyone know what exactly the previous widescreen patch did? It may be possible to hunt the values in a different location. It would help if I knew where to look.
