Widescreen Grade: CUltra-Widescreen Grade: IncompleteMulti-monitor Grade: C4k Grade: IncompleteRead Full Detailed Report - EVE OnlineEve Online is a video game by CCP Games. It is a player-driven, persistent-world MMORPG set in a science fiction space setting. Characters pilot customizable ships through a galaxy of over 7,500 star systems. Most star systems are connected to one or more other star systems by means of stargates. The star systems can contain moons, planets, stations, wormholes, asteroid belts and complexes.
Players of Eve Online can participate in a number of in-game professions and activities, including mining, piracy, manufacturing, trading, exploration, and combat (both player versus environment and player versus player). The character advancement system is based upon training skills in real time, even while not logged into the game.
Eve Online was released in North America and Europe in May 2003. It was published from May to December 2003 by Simon & Schuster Interactive, after which CCP purchased the rights and began to self-publish via a digital distribution scheme. On January 22, 2008, it was announced that Eve Online would be distributed via Steam. On March 10, 2009, the game was again made available in boxed form in stores, released by Atari. The current version of Eve Online is Odyssey, released June 4, 2013. In February 2013, EVE Online reached over 500,000 subscribers.

Just a suggestion - you might want to explain what the "widescreen" option does. Based on the screenshots, to me it looks like it cinematically letterboxes the screen while expanding the horizontal FOV. If this is the case, I would also note that it is not necessary to enable the "widescreen" option if you are already using a widescreen resolution.

The TH2Go resolutions aren't required for certification, and aren't listed as widescreen (as they are THead). I will add that it has been verified.

Thanks for clearing it up 8)
Just so as you know it depends on the Gcard as most 7xxx and better Nvidia cards can do these special resolutions but ATI had lots of problems with it(nothing to do with EVE)
1920 x 480 (triple 640) 60Hz
2400 x 600 (triple 800) 60Hz
3072 x 768 (triple 1024) 75Hz
3840 x 1024 (triple 1280) 60Hz
I have tested the last 2 in EVE :D
If you wish I will try the other 2 in the next few days ?

Hi,
I play EVE mostly in window mode like many more I think.
I was just wondering if I could somehow make it run in something like 2x 1680*1000 resolution, or 3x 1680*1000 or maybe just 2x/3x 1600*900.
Ohh and btw, I don't have TH2go or Eyefinity, just running 3x 2209WA's of 8800GT and 7600GT combo.
Regards
Oskar

It might be worth noting that EVE Online may have taken a step back in surround support... Upon recently returning to the game after some time, it would appear the game in surround is now Vert-.
Screenshot:
There is no skewing at the sides, and the camera feels very claustrophobic in stations.
Before Shot (Hor+):
Can anyone else confirm this?

I don't have the game, but I have been informed that surround is both hor + and vert -. I would personally like to see 4:3 -> 16:10 -> surround shots. Depending on what happens here, this game may need de-certification.

Its been mentioned here: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=17565
The game is now vert- on wide screen resolutions however the max zoom when outside of a station is so great it doesn't make allot of visible difference in normal situations, other then the fact what they've have done is fixed the distorting at the edge of the screen.
Example @ 5040x1050:
As I said in the other thread Eve has changed so much since its detailed report was written that it could really use a new one writing.

Unfortunately, the character creation interface is also vert- which pretty much renders it unusable in triplewide
but well, its not like you create a character every day, so just change it to a single monitor resolution, create your char and change back

EVE Online - Master Games List needs to be updated

Hello, I played EVE Online for a while now and it no longer supports Multimonitor. The Master Games List needs to be updated.

Here are some screenshots:

1280x1024

1920x1080

5760x1080
Screenshots made on same zoom-level. Only changed resolution.
You could zoom out very far to see something, but it just feels like crap when playing on that resolution.
