Minor update: The Steam version of MC2 acts the same as the demo version you've tested.

MAJOR UPDATE

The Steam version of Midnight Club II, as of September 2013, *NATIVELY* supports Eyefinity/Surround. I'm playing at 5760x1200 + bezel correction on Win 7 x64.

There used to be problems with it on Win 7 due to DEP, and someone found a way to fix it by editing the exe. But it appears that at some point Steam updated the exe and even that is no longer necessary.

The HUD is not optimized, but not stretched either. All HUD components appear all the way on the right and left, which means you have to turn your head to see the minimap, but the game is very playable.

It also supports Xbox Controller for Windows.

Is there any way for me to submit an updated database entry for Midnight Club II?

Sure thing, simply open the Detailed Report and click the Edit button on top. Your profile shows enough approved posts now so you can add content in a breeze.
I saved the old screenies locally so feel free to remove them from the DR.
