FEAR Combat widescreen issues

the tip dont seem to run with FEAR combat, cause it seems there is no file settings.cfg in the directory.

And the tool "config.exe" dont recognize the wide screen resolution...

I am having the same problem, seems Fear combat, the free MP game, has no cfg file, so I can't run it widescreen :(

Config file is in the User folder which is located under C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersDocumentsMonolith ProductionsFEARCombat...

However it does reverts to 640x480 if you start with a modded 1920x1200 cfg file - unless you set it to read-only.

That's strange. I do not have to put it as read-only. My res is 1680x1050, maybe that's why but I doubt it.

Is there an chance to run 4xaa together with soft shadowas? how would it look like?
