These have exsisted for a bit, but a new one was announced today.

Nothing to write home about, frankly. 16ms response, $16k, none of it adds up. Anyone have ideas for making your own seamless triplehead?

Ive really thought about cutting the bezels off of my monitors
for minimal damage i would have to cut the right hand side of the left monitor, left and right side of the center monitor, and the left hand side of the right monitor (hopefully you understand what im on about)
just the plastic surround on these sides. then hopefully the three monitors would slide together with the screens flush
Ive even thought about taking them out of there cases and building a custom case around them, this way if i ever wanted to sell the monitors i could just put em back in there cases :) i dunno much about how lcd's work though, ie if theres dangerous voltages etc inside them
maybe someone knows something about them on here?

I've pondered milling a triple LCD case in class. Probably have to put that off till I'm on the HAAS CNC machines next year at school. 8)

Or even a mount to screw the monitors into. LCDs have standard mounting brackets. Would be very sly to have a custom stand to properly hold all the monitors.

Here are two good starting points, each for $299 MSRP:
Ergotron LX Triple Display Lift Stand and DS100 Triple-Monitor Desk Stand
As best as I can tell, the LX would hold three Dell 2007WFPs.

Those look great - exactly what I was thinking of. The LX looks well designed. The depth of the base is a little big (14.4"), but good stuff.
Yeah, Ibrin, my wallet basically hates you ;)

I got Ergotron to send me one of their HD45 (with extension arm) for testing. It was a beast. I *WAY* over engineered what I needed. I sent it back, and they sent me a Neo-Flexâ„¢ HD Wall Mount Swing Arm.
I got it installed today, in less than 30 minutes. Expect a review soon. Ergotron makes top-notch stuff. Their instructions are very clear and thorough, and better yet, their people are a joy to work with.
Also expect a new command center pic soon.
