Great (older) Tactical RTS. "Older", as in summer 2001 old...
Anybody know of any widescreen tweaks for this one? Just curious - I've been a little bored with the lack of new/interesting games of late, and I've been throwing in some oldies but goodies, amoung them: Homeworld (1 & 2); Ground Control (1); Baldur's gate series; Starcraft (!) and this one.
Man, what a blast I'm having!
Peace, Y'All,
Fester
P.S.
A link to a review of the game: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/hostilewatersantaeusrising/review.html :cheers

Heh - I'll Be A Sonofabitch...
...the game - this nearly SIX YEAR-OLD game - supports it natively!
And I'm here to tell you it runs fine - no conflicts at all!
Damn - what happened to all these new game engines? *sigh*
Keep Gaming Y'All,
Fester :cheers

Can you help with Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising?
I own and love this game, but it doesn't play well on Windows 7... The best I could do with it was run it in an upscaled resolution, with vertical bars on either side (1280x1024 upscaled to 2560x1600).
Also, I haven't been able to download the 1.3 patch anywhere.

The GOG version is 1.03. Only $6 if that works for you.
GOG Version, hmmm...
Does the 1.03 version that GOG sells (cheaply, I'll admit) work with Windows 7, 64?

According to THIS POST it seems to work fine. I have not tested this myself.
Sadly it seems the game is Vert- widescreen. Understandable due to its age.
