Possible to Run Non-Widescreen on a Widescreen LCD???

Howdy,
New here, did a few searches, couldn't find anything, so am here posting.

Is it possible to run a widescreen LCD, such as the Dell 2405, in non-widescreen mode?

For example, I don't do much gaming, but would like to be able to play Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction, which is only capable of 800x600.

Howdy,

Yes you can play none widescreen resolutions. Depending on your configuration your can play 800x600 stretched to fullscreen or with black borders in a real 4:3 format.

You can make black borders on each side to achieve 4:3 using an application called powerstrip.
