Dune 2000 on Windows XP

Hi there
I have installed Dune 2000 on windows xp.
I have played the first stage, but cannot proceed past it, as everytime I get to the territory map the same two options are available.

I thought that the game files might be "Read only" but they are not.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem, so that I can continue playing the game?

Have you installed the lasted patch? If not I'd give that a go first. And are you saying that when you beat the first mission, and it takes you to the territory map that it is just replaying the selection choices for the first mission? Just want to make sure that I understand the problem.

I have the latest patch but have not yet installed it, will do so tonight.

Yes, I have completed the first mission, and saved during the mission. I can't save at the territory screen, because then I have to do the first mission.

I have installed tha latest patch, but everytime I run the game now, it say's that it is a multiplayer game, and I cannot even load a save game or start a new single player game ;-(
