It's EA so i guess there is no widescreen. :(

It's really the developers who implement widescreen support or not. Just because Dice are too f***ing lazy to do it doesn't mean others won't.

Well, i stopped downloading it through a http server.
I just wait till there is a good torrent file. That goes way faster.

No native widescreen support.

Update:

Documents and SettingsuserApplication DataMy Battle for Middle-earth(tm) II Demo FilesOptions.ini

Just change the resolution in that file to something like:

Resolution = 1680 1050

Update 2: The game seems to run smooth on my system at 1680*1050. The shadows are a bit bugged though (they're very blocky and aren't smoothed at all).

True, but i don't like to wait for a downloadbar slowly filling.
I don't care waiting for a torrent that is ready in 2 hours.
I think it's a waste of my internet connection to download a file with 10kbps. 8)

ctrlsteef, can you give us info when a torrent is out? IÃ‚Â´m to lazy to check. I forgot about it and shutdown my computer so I have to re-download so iÃ‚Â´ll go with the torrent as well. Good thing so you still can mess around with your comp and restart and still resume a download. Frustrating to wait for a restart.

I got it too, it took about 3 hours. I have a 24/1 hookup, ADSL2+. But I wasnÃ‚Â´t in a hurry so it was ok.

Here ADSL 2/1 and 8/1 is very normal. Almost everyone with ADSL can upgrade to 24/1 but they havenÃ‚Â´t done it since you canÃ‚Â´t download everything in that speed beacue it depends of the source upload. I got 24/1 just because I could :D. Rumours say our cable company will upgrade our real estate and every apartment will have 100/50. That would be really nice. But that cable companies internet connections today is really bad so I donÃ‚Â´t have any high hopes about it.

Well, there is one bright light on the horizon in the form of a 6mbit down line.
Soon i'm gonna upgrade. :P
Still not 24 mbit but it's atleast twice as fast as the speed i have now. :D

Yes that would be super. IÃ‚Â´m not talking about warez, I would get it becasue I could host more stuff myself rather than have to ask friends/companies to host my servers, i e web and mail.
