Widescreen Gaming Forum

Hello all,

I have tried searching for this topic but I havent found anything yet. This is one of my favorite games but am waiting on a widescreen res fix before I buy one.

Does anyone know anything or can try some sorta fix if they have it?

I don't he cares anymore but, all you need to do is modify the Display Height and Display Width variables in the C:Program FilesActivisionBridge Commanderoptions.cfg file.

Sorry but that does not work... at least for my setup (22" Widescreen, Nvidia 7950GT)

i tried with notepad:
1280x1024 to change in 1680x1050 = exe crashed on start
deleted the options.cfg and STBC created a new one on the next start.

try 2:
800x600 to change in 1280x1024 = game started but Playername was screwed up "RR@@@" so the config is in some strange Format that notepad can't handle!

next try was 800x600 to change in 1680x1050 but this time with "WordPad".
Game started! Menu loaded but looked like this:

and when i try to start a new campaign or quickmatch it crashes again...

seems to me there is no way to get BC running in Widescreen :-/
only the Credits work fine ;P
