Here's a link to a hack that makes the game run in a maximizable window so you can stretch it to your resolution without interpolation.

I need help

Post by msp1518 »

Hi. Can someone help me with this? I installed the patch, but nothing changes. I am unable to have anything but stretcho-vision. How can I get this into the window mode? I have played with this thing for hours now and have had no luck. :(

this is not a widescreen solution

Unfortunately, this doesn't do ANYTHING to let you play the game widescreen.

It only allows the game to be played in a windowed mode... you could resize the window to fill a widescreen monitor, but the aspect ratio does not change at all, the top and bottom of the screen go off the screen if the window is made too big.

I'm sick and tired of threads being labeled as "Solution" when they don't solve or don't solve completely. IMO, a thread should only be labeled "Solution" if it succincly presents how to get the game to run in A) Widescreen resolutions and B) with a proper widescreen FOV. If both A and B or either A or B are missing, I don't think the thread is "solving" anything, and therefore should not be misleadingly labeled so.

I totally agree with CaptainValor ...

Some proof of any "Solution" would also help...
Like a couple of screenshots showing the same view before and after the so called "Solution" is implemented.
