LOTR:BFME Support for widescreen?

I've seen info about most games already posted here, but I have a question about Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth. Does anyone know if it can support Widescreen? I have a Dell 2005FPW and a Radeon 9600pro. I know the game is based on Command And Conquer: Generals, so anything that works for C&C:G it might work for BFME. Thanks.
