need directions how to setup nfsu2 at 1600x900

You need three basic things:

1) a cracked .exe (see thread 2 for link to relevant site)

2) the UniWS patcher program (thread 1)

3) Mird-OC's patches.ini file (thread 2 again)

Ok I did that but I think I downloaded a bad crack cause the game crashed when I set it to 640x480

ok I just tried that cracked exe from your link and I still get the same problem with any resolution I choose

it crashed everytime I go to set it at 640x480 in the game

The problem is, I don't actually have NFSU2... (I can't buy every game :lol: ) so I'm just going on what other people have said.

Can someone else (who has got NFSU2 working) give a run through of how? (Or failing that, if no one responds, give someone who has done it successfully in the NFSU2 thread a PM)

I'm also have problems just getting the game to go over then 1024x768 in game, it wont let me set it higher like 1600x1200

what type of system are you running?

weird... it works here, i patch it to 1280x800 and select 640 in the menu. I'm running it on a mobility 9700.

Weird stuff though... after I run it once, when i go to run it again it goes back to asking me for CD2, and I have to copy the cracked exe over it again and re-patch it...

copy the cracked no-cd .exe over, then remove the speed2.undo file. patch away.

works with the 1.1 patch - had me stumped for a few days there, but i got it working again.
